Saki monkeys at The Rs Farm are a tad camera shy but we do see them and when they're alarmed we sure hear them.
Known here as the White-faced Saki, (Pithecia pithecia), they are also called the Guianan saki or the golden-faced saki.
Their diet is similar to other species of the New World saki monkey in that they feast on mostly on raw (mainly unripe) fruits, vegetables, roots, shoots, nuts, seeds and insects.
Be sure to keep your eyes on the tree canopy when you visit us.
